Kaplan Mr. Kaplan has over 35 years experience in the shopping center industry and for the past 20 years has served as President of Darryl R. Kaplan Company, a multifaceted company that provides development and leasing services for developers and tenants. Kaplan presently is a consultant to Forest City Development to assist with the leasing of The Village at Gulfstream Park, a 400,000 square foot retail / entertainment development in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Additionally the company provides real estate advisory services to retailers and restaurants expanding throughout the United States. Previously, Kaplan was President of Menin Realty Services, Inc. and had primary leasing responsibility for Downtown at the Gardens, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Prior to that, Kaplan was Executive Vice President and Director of Leasing for Leonard L. Farber Incorporated where he was responsible for overseeing the leasing, marketing, management, and operations for 7,000,000 square feet of owned and managed properties. Mr. Kaplan is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Florida and New York. He received his Bachelor’s Degree at Ohio University and is a member of the Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers.
