Fried Brad Schaefer, BSID Mr. Schaefer has over 15 years of experience in retail design and architecture specializing in retail branding for high end shopping center developers and national retailers. Previously, he served as Vice President of Design and Tenant Coordination for Turnberry Associates overseeing all architecture, design and tenant coordination functions for the retail development division and related projects. Most importantly were the retail design developments of “The Runway” at Fontainebleau Las Vegas Resort and Casino, Turnberry Town Square Las Vegas, and the Aventura Mall retail expansion in Miami, Florida. Prior to joining Turnberry, Mr. Schaefer served as Retail Design Director for the Westfield Corporation, Inc. where he implemented and directed the in-house retail team through all national development projects. One of the most notable concepts developed by him is the “Dining Terrace” at Century City. The concept has won 2 national restaurant awards in 2006/2007. It has proven to be such a success that it was then rolled out to Westfield Topanga and San Francisco Centre as a brand standard under his direction. Other project credits include, Disney’s California Adventure Retail Shops, Guess? Flagship concept US rollout, MGM in-shop concepts for Kmart/Target/Albertsons/Toys-r-Us and Central Department Store in Chidlom, Thailand. Mr. Schaefer received his bachelor of science from The Ohio State University where he studied Industrial Design and Architecture. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
