Deckinger Mr. Deckinger has more than 30 years of real estate experience on a national basis, including acquisition and new development of more than 15 million square feet of retail, office, hotel and mixed-use properties. Prior to joining Collarmele Partners, he was Vice President of Opus South Corporation responsible for all development projects on the east coast of Florida. He supervised all activities relating to project development, including planning, market analysis, construction, financial feasibility, governmental approvals, and leasing. Before joining Opus he was with Leonard L. Farber, Inc., a major national mall developer. During his 20 years with Leonard L. Farber, Inc. he held various positions including Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Leasing and President of the Company. Mr. Deckinger received his bachelor’s degree from The University of Pittsburgh. He is a member of the Board of the South Florida Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and a past State Director, a member of the Urban Land Institute and a member of the Board of the University of Florida Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies.
